CAUSES – An individual can become dizzy without having any associated symptoms. Dizziness can occur if you stand up too fast or change the position of your head. Such drugs as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, and antihypertensives can cause dizziness.
TREATMENT – Sit down with your eyes closed, head bowed, take deep breaths. If it is severe, contact your doctor.
PREVENTION – Dizziness, for the most part, is a temporary situation that resolves spontaneously; i.e., getting out of a chair too fast, without a specific diagnosis being made.
